Recently, I've been on a bit of an animation kick. More specifically, I've been in the mood to listen to music from animated children's movies. Perhaps it's a longing for a reprieve from the incessant swearing and sex scenes found in most movies today, or maybe I simply want to feel like a kid again. Whatever the reason, I'm glad I've chosen to pursue this desire. I haven't watched many animated movies yet, but the ones I've watched have been largely enjoyable. The following songs all come from Sing, Trolls, or Moana. 5 Old School Songs For Singing Along

Anyone who has ever been to a karaoke bar or attended an event with karaoke is probably aware that some songs are more popular than others. Personally, I enjoy the haunting melodies many of these songs offer. Here are some of my favorite versions. (more…)

Take a minute to think about how many animated features there are that focus on Christmas; now do you have a better idea of why this was so challenging? I had to narrow it down somehow, so these are all songs that were specifically written for an animated feature. (more…)
