- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 mug of milk
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- A dash of cinnamon
Over medium heat, melt together the butter and brown sugar. Add in the milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir until well combined. Pour into a mug and enjoy.
Make it a Double
This recipe is incredible. It results in a drink that has an irresistible caramel flavor and a smooth, creamy texture. Quite frankly, I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I do, of course, have a few notes.
You might as well go ahead and double this recipe right off the bat. You’re going to want more than one mug full of the caramel-y goodness that results. You’ll also want to make sure it cools slightly before you drink it. If you want to avoid burning your tongue and the roof of your mouth, that is. I also strongly recommend enjoying this drink in the fall, as it warms you to your core. Plus, it’s a very fall-esque beverage.
This caramel beverage isn’t exactly the healthiest thing around, but it makes for an excellent treat after a long day. Give it a try, and let me know what you think!
