I’m sure many of you have heard of Christmas in July before. Well, Prime Day is an Amazon.com event that really brings this idea to life. Okay, I guess it’s more like Cyber Monday in July, but it feels like Christmas when your packages start arriving. I participated in Prime Day last year, and I found a plethora of fantastic deals. In fact, I was able to get a big chunk of my Christmas shopping done, which is kind of a big deal for me.
Prime Day is available to Prime members only, so if you’re not already a member, click here to become one. In my humble opinion, it’s well worth it. Prime offers awesome benefits, some of which you can read about here. If you don’t believe me, check it out for yourself. You can find a full list of benefits on Amazon. If, like me, you’re hesitant to sign your life away to yet another company, you can always sign up for the free trial and cancel it if you change your mind.
Prime Day officially starts at 9 PM ET on July 10th. You can start building a wish list now and sign up for notifications, so you don’t miss out on a single deal. There are also a few lead-up to Prime Day deals to check out, like unlimited reading on Kindle and $0.99 movie and TV show rentals. Amazon is also offering extra rewards for signing up for the Prime Visa card or their site card. I signed up for both and ended up with over $100 in my account. I’ll also be earning up to 20% back on any Amazon.com purchases I make, just by using the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card on Prime Day.
I could go on and on about the perks of Prime and Prime Day, but suffice it to say, there are plenty of worthwhile reasons to check it out. Now, click here to start enjoy the perks and get shopping!
